The Skincare Edit
Products I am currently using, and loving.
My skin has always been a little bit of an issue for me. Growing up I actually didn’t have many problems with it, but as I started approaching my twenties – that all went out the window. Since I was about 19 I have suffered – from what I would call, mild acne. I honestly cannot recall a time over those years where I didn’t have (at least afew breakouts) happening at once.
It wasn’t a big enough deal for me to seek professional help, but it was a big enough deal that I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the house without makeup – and that is no way to live.
Fast forward seven years (wow, seven years), I am now 26 years old and can quite clearly say that I had tired everything possible to clear my skin up. You name it, I’ve tried it.
It got to the point where I wanted a therapist – for my skin.
I hated going to different salons, spa etc and having a different therapist each time. I never really felt like they cared about me, or my skin.
I reached out to Gry at Hud Skin and Body about 4 months ago, I had heard great reviews – plus, her spa is a Scandinavian interior dream. Not joking.
Since getting regular Enzyme Therapy, 1 courses of skin needling sessions and using their DMK home care religiously, my skin is the best it has been since I was a teenager. I am writing this post without a simple breakout on my face and the clearest, most even skin I have had in a decade.
At home I am using the following products (all DMK) –
Deep Pore Facial Cleanser, Beta Gel, Vitamin C Serum, Betagen and the Revise A cream, Seba – E Hydrating Oil, Pore Reduction Tonic and Herb and Mineral Moisture Spray.
All products available to shop from Hud Skin and Body.
