The Nursery, with Pottery Barn Kids

The Nursery,

With Pottery Barn Kids

I am so excited to finally share with you all the finished Nursery for our baby boy.

When I first started planning this space all I knew was that I wanted it to be a sanctuary, a relaxing (yet fun) spot for our little boy to grow and enjoy.

I knew I didn’t want it to be too ‘traditional’ or too colourful, so starting off with a neutral palatte and a simple (yet funky wallpaper) seemed like a great place to start.

Enter Pottery Barn Kids!

Before I even knew I was pregnant I had my cot picked out.

I had seen the Sloan Acrylic Cot in a few other Nursery Reveals and immediately bookmarked it. My favourite feature is the perspex slats – I just loved that we would be able to see in, and that our ‘future baby‘ would be able to see out. Plus it added a modern take on the traditional style of cots.

Another item that I fell in love with, and turned out to be quite the statement piece, was the Jumbo Plush Sloth. I think he is just adorable, plus I wanted our little boy to grow up loving all animals – just like I did!

The other furniture item I opted for was the beautiful Madison Bookrack Tower. I had been putting books aside for months at this stage, (Note, markets are the perfect place to find vintage copies of all your old favourites). So I needed a cute spot to house this growing collection.

As for toys, (and other little bits and pieces) the Click Block Set, Wooden Play Gym and Silver Metallic Rope Hamper were all perfect additions to the space.

Overall I am just over the moon with how this space has turned out.

Now all that’s missing is our baby boy!
