Postpartum skincare is something I’ve been focusing a lot over the past few months.
In those first few months with a newborn your skin gets sort of neglected. You’re in a haze of sleep deprivation and your skin is the last thing on your mind!
Now that Flynn’s a little older and sleeps a little better I finally have had the time to re-focus and think about postpartum skincare and what I want for my skin.
Over the past couple of weeks I have been trying out the new Mother’s Care Range from Palmer’s.
The range contains Tummy Butter, Massage Cream and Massage Lotion and Massage Oil. It’s based around the prevention and reduction of stretch marks, and although I may not be pregnant anymore, stretch marks are now my number one skin concern.
I was very, very lucky to not get any stretch marks on my stomach while pregnant, no idea how! But my breasts and hips weren’t so lucky.
I love slathering on the Massage Lotion after a shower each morning, then using the Tummy Butter to really work into those existing stretch marks. In the evenings before bed I love applying the Massage Oil to the entire body. The perfect pre-bed ritual if you ask me!
The Mother Care range is dermatologist approved and the products contain highly effective ingredients such as collagen, cocoa butter, vitamin E. Great to know that it’s free from nasties such as mineral oil, parabens and phthalates.
